After a long tour and journey, John has returned from Tiny Telephone in San Francisco, CA with the new LP recorded and mixed, with John Moreland, Kyle Reid, Peter Labberton, and Jacob Winik all contributing to it's creation."Better Luck" is 11 original songs put straight to tape in 6 days and to be released on vinyl, CD, and digital. The album is currently in the mastering stages and is slated for a late fall release and tour.
Immense thanks to all the kind folks and listening ears that helped the music down the road on this last tour. From the Canyonlands to the Pacific, from the plains to the mountains, there are good people all about.
If you're ever in the area of the Mission in San Francisco, go check out Paulcity Goods. Paul is an amazing leather worker and kindly fixed the straps on my guitar case and made me a belt to keep these pants from falling off. Order at www.paulcity.com and check out the awesome stuff he crafts.
